Enjoy Summer Cruises in 2015 from PortMiami

Sail to the Bahamas, the Southern Caribbean, the Western Caribbean or the Eastern Caribbean from Miami this summer. Three Miami ships – Carnival Ecstacy, Norwegian Sky and Majesty of the Seas – will cruise to the Bahamas this summer. The other four Miami ships will ply the Caribbean Sea.

Carnival Cruise Lines will operate four ships out of PortMiami this summer, while Norwegian Cruise Lines will run two ships and Royal Caribbean Cruises will field one ship. Cruise ships stationed in Miami for the summer include:

Carnival Ecstasy

This is your last summer to cruise the Ecstasy from Miami, where it will run four-day and three-day cruises to the Bahamas this summer. The four-day trips also dock in Key West and Cozumel. It’s a great ship, one that was awarded a perfect score in its latest U.S. Public Health Inspection in April. The classic-rock band Boston is scheduled to perform aboard ship in August!

Carnival Breeze

Slated for six-day Southern Caribbean cruises this summer, this ship was voted the Favorite Cruise Ship for 2015 by the readers of Cruise Fever. The ship beat out Royal Caribbean’s newest offering, Allure of the Seas, for the honor. Built for fun, this three-year-old ship features a 5D cinema, a seaside theater, an outdoor water park, a comedy club and a sports complex.

Carnival Victory

Scheduled for four-day and five-day Western Caribbean cruises this summer, Carnival Victory will sail from Miami for the final time this winter. The ship is slated to move to San Juan, Peurto Rico, in November. Two new drinking establishments, Alchemy Bar and Sky Box Sports Bar, recently have been added. The 13-deck ship features three pools and the 214-foot Twister water slide.

Carnival Glory

This 13-deck ship will sail out of Miami on seven-day cruises to the Western Caribbean this summer. The ship features a comedy club, a sports bar, a seaside theater and a gigantic water slide. Port visits this summer include the Cayman Islands, Honduras, Belize and Mexico. The ship, which was retrofitted in 2012, relocated to Miami from Norfolk, Va., in 2014.

Norwegian Sky

This 12-deck cruise ships specializes in cruising to the Bahamas! This summer, the ship will run four-day and three-day trips. With a dozen bars and lounges, 13 dining options and an awesome casino, you’re encouraged to take advantage of the special all-inclusive packages Norwegian Cruise Lines offers on this ship. Four-day trips dock in Nassau, Grand Bahama Island and Great Stirrup Cay.

Norwegian Gateway

Named Best Contemporary Cruise Ship this year by Travel Pulse, this year-old ship will be sailing seven-day Eastern Caribbean cruises out of Miami this summer. The ship, newest in the Norwegian Cruise Lines line, features 28 dining options, including three main dining rooms, three steakhouses and a pair of dinner theaters. The ship also features a 3-level sports complex.

Majesty of the Seas

This 12-deck cruise ship is serving the Bahamas this summer, mixing seven-day voyages with three-day weekend trips. Enjoy nine bars and lounges, two pools, a rock-climbing wall and Broadway-style theater aboard this family-friendly ship. More than 200 slot machines and a dozen gambling tables in the ship’s casino! Weeklong voyages also stop in Key West.
